Maine's original LGBTQIA business and professional networking organization, RBPA was established in 1992 to promote networking within the LGBTQIA business community. It was initially conceived to support the coming out process of LGBTQIA professionals and business people throughout the State of Maine and to encourage us to spend our gay dollars within the gay community. Over the years RBPA has become Maine's premier LGBTQIA business networking organization.
For 18 years RBPA has supported a Scholarship Program, with the goal of benefiting deserving students by granting scholarships to individuals enrolled in an accredited program and to enhance self-esteem; to recognize and foster diversity; and to reward and support sensitivity to human rights.
We have two signature programs which help support the LGBTQIA Business community and the Scholarship Program.
